I am an artist based in Boston, MA USA.I am working on my Master of Fine Arts; anticipated graduation, 2011 at School of the Museum of Fine Arts in affiliation with Tufts University, Medford, MA. Areas of Concentration: Sound Art, Film and Video

Statement(s):

I have an overwhelming interest in humanity as expressed through micro synthesized physical consistency and variation. I explore the surfaces of the external layers of sound from environment through microscopic observations that partially reveal an unpredictable connection between the internal world and imagination. I focus on the undesirable texture such as noise and scream. These surfaces express tension between the physically unpleasant yet visually alluring. On the other hand, the familiar begins to feel foreign. These sound are subjected to an intuitive process,

I arouse sensations of underlying violence, psychological tension, or a supernatural aura. A piece is finished when I believe it articulates a single moment in time. My works reveal no gender, dealing rather with complex issues of identity. The pieces intensify conjunctions of spiritualism, vulnerability, transgression, contradictory interpretations of meaning, and horror, and may invoke connections with the microcosmic world.

I focus on the undesirable textual These surfaces express tension between the physically unpleasant, yet visually striking, leaving lasting impressions which supersede prior frameworks within personal and collective memory. Surroundings which might have been familiar suddenly feels foreign, and remain as such in this context.

My work arouse sensations of underlying violence, psychological tension, or a supernatural facade. A piece is finished when I believe it articulates a single moment in time. My works reveal no gender, dealing rather with complex issues of identity, environmental awareness, and distortions of time, cognition and where-with-all in a world lacking unfettered sensitivity. The pieces intensify conjunctions of spiritualism, vulnerability, transgression, contradictory interpretations of meaning, and horror, and may invoke connections with the macroscopic world.
